Category A
grants the right to drive motorcycles and three-wheeled motor vehicles with a power output exceeding 15 kW, with no engine displacement restrictions.
The Category A course includes both theoretical and practical training.
Requirements
The applicant must be at least 24 years old.
20 years old – if the driver has held a Category A2 motorcycle driving licence for at least 2 years.
21 years old – for driving three-wheeled motor vehicles with a power output exceeding 15 kW.
Diploma or certificate confirming completion of higher, secondary, or basic education (8th grade) before 26 July 2017. This document will be required by the Traffic Police Department when adding Category A to your driving licence.
